Behind the bean

The Process

The coffee cherries are meticulously processed using the traditional Washed method, unique to Rwanda. This involves depulping and fermenting the cherries in open-air tanks for 12–18 hours, followed by a 24-hour soak. They are then spread on raised beds to dry. This rigorous process ensures a clean cup and accentuates the coffee’s inherent flavor attributes.

Light

Our light roast offers a taste that’s lively and crisp, capturing the original, inherent flavors of the beans. With its pronounced acidity and clean finish, it’s a refreshing start to your coffee journey.

Our medium roast marries the natural flavors of the beans with those developed during roasting. It offers a well-rounded flavor profile and a pleasing aroma, making every sip a satisfying experience.

Dark

Our dark roast offers a bold coffee experience. Its robust, full-bodied profile reveals rich notes of chocolate and caramel with a hint of smokiness, making it a truly indulgent treat.
